Project Manager Position Open!
Gary Brink & Associates (GBA), a full-service architectural & interior design firm based in Middleton, WI, is seeking new, creative, and collaborative minds to join our team. We are currently looking for a Project Manager with relevant experience in Multi-Family, Retail and/or Hospitality Experience. Our casual atmosphere in our contemporary workspace along with a variety of interesting projects makes our office an ideal environment to gain meaningful experience in the architectural field.
Responsibilities:
- Exceptional knowledge, solid proficiency, and proven ability to put together buildings in Revit
- Technical expertise in components of materials and detailing.
- Lead team of designers.
- Oversee architectural projects from conceptual design through construction completion, making sure that project teams meet quality, schedule, contractual, and budget goals.
- Proven knowledge of code regulations governing the industry.
- Organize construction documents and assume responsibility for finished plans, specifications, materials, and construction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in all phases of architectural design and documents including providing working direction and team leadership with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (preferred). Demonstrated proficiency with Bluebeam, Revit production experience & SketchUp. Proven history of excellent interpersonal, leadership, communication & presentation skills. Understanding of all aspects and phases of the architectural production process. Must be proactive, a self-starter, a problem solver, a team player, highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must have intermediate Revit knowledge and have used Revit for at least two years in a professional setting. Works mostly in Revit to complete work on projects in one or more aspects (modeling, detailing, etc.). Makes edits to and works within established templates, standards, etc. Beginning to understand how firm projects are initially set up and how families are created.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort level with a fast-paced environment.

Revit Designer Position Open!

Responsibilities will include:
- Exceptional Architectural knowledge, solid proficiency, and proven ability to put together entire building and details in Revit
- Participating in coordination meetings with the design team.
- Working with the Project Architect & Interior Designer to assist in the production of construction drawings.
- Creating and maintaining accurate Revit models.
- Working to complete projects under established deadlines.
- The ability to take initiative to get a project completed.
- Working in a team environment.
Qualifications:
- 2-year technical degree or 4-year architectural / associate degree is required.
- Candidates must have active experience in architectural coordination, design & drafting using REVIT, familiarity with reading drawings and specifications, and proficiency in Microsoft Office & Bluebeam products.

Architectural Designer Position Open!
GBA is currently seeking an Architectural Designer candidate passionate about transforming conceptual/schematic designs into working construction documents.
As the Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for developing and drawing/modeling systems and details. This work will be completed by working with our team and overlaying other disciplines’ drawings and models
Responsibilities:
- Using Revit software to prepare construction documents for building projects
- Collaborating with project teams on markups or instructions that need further clarification for modeling purposes
- Ensuring the quality of the construction drawings produced and working towards maintaining consistency between projects
- Assisting engineers with gathering existing field information of existing building systems and preparing drawings from the data gathered from the project site
- Producing prints and PDFs of contract documents as needed
- Assisting with building scanning and site surveys
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or certificate in Computer Aided Drafting or Building Information Modeling
- Two years of experience producing construction documents and models
- Knowledge of modeling software involved in the production of building plans
- Knowledge of MEP and/or structural design (a plus)
- Experience using BIM/Revit software
- Experience running clash detections in Navisworks (preferred) Strong MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) knowledge
- Enthusiasm for the collaboration with architectural and construction professionals
- Effective working individually and within team environments
- Effective time management, organizational and priority setting skills
- High initiative and passion for learning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
